Scrabble Resources
Scrabble has been one of my favorite board games for years. As a child, we played on family games nights every Tuesday. Sometimes it would lead to fights amongst my sisters and me, but ultimately, it wasn’t even about winning the game. It was about having fun with my siblings and mom and dad. What I learned later was that it was an excellent educational tool that helped all of us improve our vocabulary and spelling, in addition to learning how to interact with others, be patient (the games can take a long time! – especially with multiple people playing), and basic strategy that applied to other board games as well as so many other aspects of daily life.
If you aren’t already familiar with it, Scrabble is a word-based board game where each player draws seven letter tiles, which become your “rack.” On your turn, you use the letters in your rack to spell a word, by placing the tiles on the board. Sounds simple enough, but there are quite a few intricacies of the game. In addition to using letters that already on the board, some of the board spaces, where you place the letters have multipliers that increase the value of a single letter or even the entire word that you play, so knowing how to use these multipliers is key to maximizing your score for each
Even if you’re a seasoned expert at the game, or its many variations in app form, like Words With Friends, Wordfeud, Wordwise and others, sometimes you just get stuck and can’t figure out anything to spell with your letters. That’s where Scrabble Word Solver comes to the rescue. We built this website for our love of the game and to help others who face this situation where they are stuck and can’t find the perfect word to play. It’s also an educational tool, to help you improve your game and learn new words that can be added to not only your Scrabble game playing arsenal, but to your daily conversations with friends, family and co-workers.
Scrabble Word Solver is a website that lets users input their rack letters, including blank tiles, and view a list of all the possible words they can spell with those letters, including point values and even definitions (just in case you get called out for cheating!) “I knew that word already, it means…” It’s basically like having a master Scrabble robot on your side, ready to help you maximize each turn to score the most points.
